The expected outcomes for public heritage institutions include: capacity building, willingness and confi dence to face and undertake changes, knowledge to create and implement a business model, allowing them to play an active role in the en hancement of the regional development. The final MarMuCommerce deliverable will be a test run of the new business model to establish a joint exhibition utilising the eMarCon webtool within the framework of a new commercial environment.
The project will elaborate upon business models, marketing techniques and tools for heritage institutions:
- To increase the commercial activities
- To contribute to regional development
- By workshops and seminars for experts, entrepreneurs and represen tatives of public authorities
- By desk top studies
A training and coaching programme will support the introduction of the new business model.
A regional and interregional commercially oriented network that actively provides the services created under the project will be established.
