Obviously, the Polish Maritime Museum is not the only one dealing with the maritime heritage of Gdansk. Archaeological evidence of sea related activities of Gdansk inhabitants is on display at the Archaeological Museum. The Historical Museum of Gdansk has been returning Arthur’s Court to its former glory, fitting the interior with reconstructed or restored elements of old outfit, including ship models from the 16th-19th cent. The National Museum has a significant collection of Polish paintings, and the Museum’s the most valuable exhibit: the triptych The Last Judgement by Hans Memling originates from an action of Gdansk privateers against English shipping in the 15th cent.
